Giveaway: 1 Pair of tickets to see Frightened Rabbit @ The Loft

18 Oct

There really isn’t much out there that we love more than Frightened Rabbit, case in point we spent a rather chilly afternoon at Austin’s French Legation during SXSW waiting to hear snippets of the bands’ The Winter of Mixed Drinks and marvel at band member Grant Hutchison’s Lady GaGa shirt.

Luckily for you dear reader you won’t have to brave arctic temperatures to get a chance to watch some of the most melodic indie rock out today, all you have to do is send us an email telling us what Lemonheads song the band recently covered for the  AV Club, and you can have a pair of tickets for tomorrow nights show.

Just send an email withe the answer to giveaways@daybowbow.net by 11:59 p.m. tonight, and make sure you put “Scary Bunny” in the tittle.

Frightened Rabbit plays The Loft on tomorrow night  with Plants & Animals and  Bad Veins. Tickets are $16 in advance and $18 on the day of the show.

New Fightened Rabbit tracks hit the web.

The Onion’s Av Club, and Pitchfork both have post sending people over to Frightened Rabbit’s page over at Fat Cat records where a pair of new tracks from their upcoming album is streaming. We here at DayBowBow are very much for this band, mainly due to the amazing hold they place over women. True story when they played Hailey’s last year a group if about 40 girls stood directly in front of the stage singing along to every song, never missing a lyric.

Even Michael David Barrett could have gotten some action in that room.
